xmrig-zecnero config
xmrig-zecnero is a fork of XMRig with Zecnero’s RandomX variant added. The developer donation is removed and the default donate level is 0.
The installer writes a working config for you. Read this page if you want to run xmrig-zecnero directly or change its settings.
Algorithm
| Name | Use |
|---|---|
rx/zecnero | RandomX with the Zecnero Argon2 salt. Current algorithm on testnet. |
NU1 added RandomX v2 work under the name rx/zecnero2. One third-party miner uses the alias rx2/zecnero.
Confirm the final algorithm name after NU1 (rx/zecnero or rx/zecnero2) and update this table and the example below.
Stratum example
A minimal config.json for the project pool. Replace YOUR_ZMR_ADDRESS with your transparent or Sapling address.
{
"autosave": true,
"donate-level": 0,
"randomx": {
"1gb-pages": false,
"rdmsr": true,
"wrmsr": true
},
"cpu": {
"enabled": true,
"huge-pages": true
},
"pools": [
{
"algo": "rx/zecnero",
"url": "stratum.zecnero.org:3333",
"user": "YOUR_ZMR_ADDRESS",
"pass": "x",
"keepalive": true,
"tls": false
}
]
}
Run it:
./xmrig-zecnero -c config.json
The same settings from the command line:
./xmrig-zecnero -a rx/zecnero -o stratum.zecnero.org:3333 -u YOUR_ZMR_ADDRESS -p x
The keys above are standard XMRig options. See the upstream XMRig documentation for the full list.
Confirm the pool’s worker naming convention (for example ADDRESS.worker or the pass field) and whether the pool offers a TLS port.
Where the installer keeps the config
Document the config file path the installer uses on Linux, WSL and Windows, and whether zecnero-miner update overwrites local edits.
